We're very excited to welcome JB Gray back to our staff. He was a huge part of the success of the Northgate H.S. Winterguard in 2002 and 2003, and we're glad to have his help with our program once again. JB graduated from Villa Rica H.S., where he was an all-state french horn player, and captain of the winterguard. He also marched in the Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps and the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps. He graduated from Jacksonville State University, where he was a member of the JSU Marching Southerners, rifle captain in 1986 and visual coordinator of the color guard and Ballerinas in 1987 & 1988. He has taught, instructed, and consulted various winter guards throughout the Southeast, including Carrollton HS, Lassiter HS and the independent winter guard Sentinel. He also instructed/was on staff for the 5-time World Champion Union HS Color Guard from Tulsa, Oklahoma. J.B. now works for Turner, where he is employed with the Cartoon Network in programming.
