Rodney graduated from Jacksonville State University in 1994 with a Bachelor's degree in English, and in 1998 with his Master's degree in Education. As an undergraduate student, Rodney was a member of the Marching Southerners for 4 years, and as a graduate student, was a teaching assistant in the University Bands Department. After working for several years as an Admissions Counselor for JSU, Rodney is now teaching English and is the Colorguard Coordinator for the JSU Marching Southerners and director of the JSU Center Stage Winterguard.
