Legacy of the Viking Start Date:1/4/2010 End Date:4/1/2010 Here is your chance to become a part of the “Legacy of the Viking”. You may order a brick that will be laser-etched with the name of your Northgate student, along with their year of graduation. These bricks will become a permanent part of the history and landscape of Northgate High School. The “Legacy of the Viking” site is located at Henry Seldon Field, next to the home concession stand. Each brick measures 8”x4” and allows up to 18 characters per line.  You may also purchase a “baby brick” that measures 2”x4”. It is a mini replica of your student brick. It will be yours to display. You must purchase a student brick in order to purchase a baby brick. Scrip SteppingStones Start Date:11/11/2008 End Date:12/31/2010 This is a program that allows each parent to weekly make a choice to direct their normal purchases for essentials…milk, eggs, gas, clothing to those stores that will partner with our school.  It is that simple.  No selling, no extra expense, just focused spending.  Spending that brings profit to our program. How this program works? UnitedScrip purchases millions of dollars worth of gift cards (SCRIP) yearly from national vendors. Our team purchases these same cards from UnitedScrip at a discount.  We in turn offer this scrip to our parents at face value.  You receive dollar for dollar the valve of cash for these items.  Example: $50 of a gas debit card will purchase $50 of gas at any of its pumps, nationwide. IT’S THAT SIMPLE! Scrip Schedule Pick up an order form in the band room, at a booster meeting or download one off our band site. Take a look at this form and think about your month.  Where will you shop this week?  Where will you eat out?  What essentials will you need?  Does the car need gas? Who has a birthday party coming up?  Who needs shoes?  What groceries do you need? Fill out the form and return it with a check to cover the items to the red box in the band room or to Tanya Grieb at the booster meeting.  The certificates will be available at the next booster meeting.
