The Marching Percussion section of the Viking Band includes the battery and the front ensemble. The percussion section frequently earns best-in-class and high division ratings at marching band competitions. As part of the marching band, the percussion section serves the communities of Newnan and Sharpsburg by performing at parades, pep rallies, and other local events.
